Overview & Responsibilities Are you a college Junior or Senior looking for an engaging Spring 2026 Internship with a focus on Finance or Business? Look no further! Republic Finance invites you to apply for our Branch Operations Internship program! As a Branch Operations Intern, you will gain invaluable insights into the daily workings of a branch and explore the broader organization along with various career opportunities available. You will collaborate with team members and leaders, gaining real-world experience by participating in numerous aspects of branch operations, including our Republic Way sales and customer service approach, compliance training, loan closings, and leadership development. You’ll also engage in continuous improvement projects that span different departments within the company. Our aim is to build upon the foundational concepts from your college education while introducing you to exciting career pathways with Republic Finance! Key Responsibilities: Complete an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to become licensed and understand the loan process along with regulatory training. Assist in the daily loan origination, processing, and closing activities, including file preparation, auditing closed files, and ensuring readiness for funding. Shadow your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand their responsibilities and the potential career paths within Republic Finance. Attend regional meetings and workshops (when available) to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division. Work on one or more projects related to process improvements in Branch Operations. Explore corporate roles where a background in branch operations is highly beneficial, such as Audit, Compliance, and Training. Requirements: Current Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field. A strong desire to learn, coupled with enthusiasm and reliability. Availability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Must meet satisfactory standards for criminal background, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen. Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing based on a criminal background check by the state's department of insurance.
