Position Overview As an MRI Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using sophisticated magnetic resonance imaging equipment. You will be responsible for preparing patients for exams, operating the equipment to produce high-quality images, and ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort. This role requires technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and close collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate results. Qualifications and Certifications Education: Completion of an accredited program to meet certification, license, or registration requirements. Required Upon Hire: An Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License OR an Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License. A National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association. Note for New Graduates: Must have an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire. Required Within 6 Months (180 Days) of Hire: National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR a National Certified MRI Technologist from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
