Competitive Pay: Average $1,871 per week ($97,292 per year), starting at 61 cpm, plus $27 per stop (average of 6-9 stops per week). Average 2,800 miles per week, with detention, breakdown, and layover pay. Take advantage of our company-sponsored per diem program. Home Time: Typically home on Fridays and out on Mondays. Minimum of 2 weeks out, generally averaging 3 weeks with flexible home time! Expect to log 70 hours in 8 days with dispatch based on freight availability and location. We’ll do our best to accommodate your preferred time off and home days. Truck Driving Duties: Transport portable storage units to designated centers or hub facilities. Secure and strap down containers to ensure safe transit. Work with destination site personnel who will assist with unloading and reloading. Pick up and deliver across the 48 contiguous states (excluding NYC deliveries). Additional Perks: This is an assigned sleeper position. Essential Functions: Capable of lifting and moving side kits weighing up to 46 lbs. Secure loads with chains and hardware (up to 80 lbs lifting requirement). Climb on and off flatbed trailers. Count and manage freight accurately. Complete fuel tickets and delivery receipts. Perform hook/unhook trailer tasks (requiring up to 90 lbs of force). Conduct pre-trip inspections diligently. Ability to drive safely and for extended periods. Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
