Turning Point for God is the broadcast ministry of Dr. David Jeremiah and exists to deliver the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world. Using Dr. Jeremiah's teaching, we capture, curate, and communicate Bible Strong content through the power of media to share the Gospel with theological and creative excellence. Dr. Jeremiah is committed to teaching the entirety of God's Word to the world, and his teaching is delivered in multiple languages to approximately 3 billion people across the globe through Turning Point's various media channels. To accomplish this mission, more than two hundred staff across various disciplines are committed to sharing the Gospel and Bible Strong teaching through Turning Point. Position Summary: The Events Coordinator is a key member of the Events team, responsible for supporting the planning, organization, and execution of Turning Point events. Working closely with the Events Director, this role coordinates logistics, travel, vendor communications, and on-site operations while proactively identifying and assisting in resolving issues. The Events Coordinator plays an important role in ensuring events run smoothly and reflect Turning Point's mission and values. There are three to four events per year. Responsibilities: Support the contracting and booking of venues, speakers, talent, production, and hospitality Conduct research and assist with the selection and booking of event venues and vendors as needed Serve as a liaison with vendors on event-related matters Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, hotel accommodations, and transportation for staff and attendees, as needed Collaborate with the Administrative Assistant to the President/COO and CEO to ensure timely communication of event details and travel support Coordinate logistics before, during, and after events, including: Staff movement and scheduling Volunteer coordination Resource and merchandise areas Pre- and post-event setup and strike Coordinate communications with event attendees and volunteers Assist with ordering, shipping, and logistics of event materials, including resources, signage, and decor. Partner with the Fulfillment Innovation Center to schedule shipments and manage storage of event materials Travel as necessary to provide on-site event support Interact professionally with partners, vendors, and guests during events Assist with tracking, processing, and maintaining invoices and contractual documentation accurately and efficiently Process and reconcile monthly departmental expense reports and reimbursement requests Core Competencies: Spiritual Leadership: Demonstrates a Christ-centered approach to work and relationships. Qualifications and Experience: Experienced, energetic team player with a professional demeanor Reliable, adaptable, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and take initiative Ability to follow directions while also working independently Strong organizational skills with the ability to anticipate needs, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Experience planning or managing events preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to serve as an ambassador of Turning Point with all external partners and participants. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends Ability to travel approximately 15-20 days per year. Standard work hours M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with flexibility required for occasional irregular hours during special events. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and serve as God leads. We believe God immutably creates each person as male or female, which reflects the image and nature of God. We believe that gender identity may not be detached from the biological sex of the human body. Rejecting one's biological sex or acting upon any disagreement with one's biological sex is immoral and rejects the created image of God. We believe God designed marriage or matrimony as a unique, covenantal, procreative, conjugal relationship joining one biological man and one biological woman in a heterosexual, single, exclusive, life-long union. God intends sexual intimacy to exclusively occur between a man and a woman joined in marriage and that God intends for children to be raised and nurtured in an environment that honors these distinctions. We believe all forms of sexual immorality, including but not limited to adultery, fornication, homosexual activity and behavior, polygamy, polyandry, bestiality, incest, pornography, is immoral, sinful and offensive to God. We believe God endows all human life with inherent dignity at every stage of development and it must be respected and protected from conception to natural death. Thus, the unjustified, intentional taking of human life before or after birth is sinful and offensive to God.
