Our service teams are essential in delivering exceptional service on Securitas Technology products at client sites. This position involves being the front line for all post-installation issues on systems and equipment, as well as participating in special project work as needed. Key Responsibilities: Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance. Diagnose and resolve application issues independently or collaboratively as part of a team. Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize application availability and proactively identify system faults. Perform routine configuration alterations (user permissions, application configurations, etc.). Document all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system. Create high-quality technical documentation that clearly describes both conceptual and quantitative aspects of system deployment for both technical and non-technical audiences. Conduct pre-deployment end-to-end testing of all upgrades and major modifications. Carry out on-site installations of software upgrades and significant alterations. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience in installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment essential. Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms. Fire alarm experience with Bosch or Silent Knight is highly preferred; Simplex, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens, or other commercial fire systems are a plus. NICET certification or State Fire License preferred. ESA Certified Alarm Technician desirable. NTS Certified Service Technician is a plus. Working knowledge of network communications and IP addressing is important. Certifications in enterprise-grade CCTV and Access Control are advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills necessary. Outstanding time management skills.
