About the Job About the Opportunity: We're a leader in aviation maintenance and technical services, and we're looking for an experienced Avionics Technician to join our growing Bermuda Dunes, California team. In this fast-paced role, you'll maintain a diverse fleet, ensure safety and efficiency, and contribute directly to our team's success. Responsibilities:Troubleshoot, repair, and install avionics systems accurately and independently. Use test equipment like IFR-4000, IFR-6000, and Air Data Test Sets. Work across platforms including Garmin, Bendix/King, Honeywell, and more. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals. Perform pitot/static, transponder, altitude reporting, and RVSM testing. Maintain FAA-compliant documentation. Uphold quality, safety, and customer service standards. Collaborate with maintenance and service teams to achieve shared goals. Requirements:Valid driver's license. Eligible for an FAA Repairman Certificate under 14 CFR Part 65. Minimum three years' avionics experience in a Part 145 Repair Station. Hands-on experience with Garmin or similar systems. Proficiency with GPS/NAV/COM, audio panels, autopilots, EFIS/PFD/MFD, ELTs, instruments, gyros, radar, datalink/weather, traffic, and terrain systems. Experience with maintenance tracking software (e.g., Corridor). Strong computer skills and ability to stand, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred Qualifications:Current or previous FAA Repairman Certificate. Extensive experience in avionics installation, troubleshooting, programming, and repair. Familiarity with a wide range of test equipment. Own basic hand tools (specialty tools provided). Detail-oriented, quality-driven, and team-focused attitude.
