In this pivotal role, you will partner with clients to discern their challenges and opportunities, applying data-driven strategies that create significant value. You will engage with a diverse array of clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, shaping data strategies, and driving innovation using the latest tools and methodologies. Position Summary The Senior Life Sciences Intelligence Consultant is essential in managing and analyzing data to derive actionable insights that facilitate decision-making and enhance outcomes in the life sciences industry. As a subject matter expert (SME) in life sciences data, you will consult on use cases, provide insightful recommendations, and aid in business growth. This position requires strong technical abilities, exceptional project management skills, and collaborative prowess to deliver superior data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate is motivated by translating intricate datasets into impactful business strategies, nurturing client connections, and driving growth within our Intel division. Key Responsibilities Data Analysis and Insight Generation: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights tailored to client needs. Interpret diverse life sciences datasets, including clinical, commercial, and operational data, to support the development of use cases. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualization tools for effective communication of findings. Act as an SME for life sciences data, offering guidance on applications and best practices. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards in the life sciences realm. Translate sophisticated data concepts into clear and concise recommendations for various stakeholders. Utilize databases and multiple data sources to analyze, interpret data and uncover patterns and insights that support decision-making. Create data visualizations, reports, and presentations that simplify complex information. Consulting on Use Cases and Insights Application: Work collaboratively with clients to comprehend their business challenges and recommend customized data solutions. Guide the application of insights to real-world scenarios such as market access, patient engagement, and clinical processes. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring insights are seamlessly integrated into business decisions. Project Management: Lead and oversee data-focused projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely achievement of goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, IT specialists, and business units, to align project objectives. Manage project timelines, mitigate risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders regularly. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Data Analytics, Biostatistics, Healthcare Management, or related field from an accredited institution. 7+ years' experience in data analysis, life sciences consulting, or a similar capacity. Proven track record of managing projects and providing data-driven insights within the life sciences or healthcare sectors. Skills and Competencies Proficient in data analysis tools including SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Expertise in data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI. Strong understanding of life sciences data including patient journeys, market access, and clinical workflows. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Superb communication skills, with an aptitude for presenting complex data clearly and effectively. Stellar organizational and project management abilities, adept at juggling multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CRM or healthcare data systems (e.g., IQVIA, EMR, Veeva). Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the life sciences sector. Certification in data analytics or project management (e.g., PMP, CAP). Residence in the Eastern US is a plus.
