Join Jacobs as we lead the charge in the rapidly changing energy sector! Our Energy & Power team is expanding to better support clients in implementing reliable and sustainable energy solutions. We are in search of an innovative and dynamic project manager with a strong leadership spirit to help us deliver impactful energy advisory projects. In this critical role, you will spearhead projects that tackle increasing energy demands and drive the transition to sustainable energy across North America. Your engagement will cover thrilling areas such as: Energy master planning Techno-economic feasibility studies Data center power solutions District Energy Systems Renewable energy and storage solutions Thermal power solutions We are looking for a candidate who has extensive exposure to various generation technologies and a documented history of successfully executing projects in at least three of these areas. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage both internal teams and external subcontractors and partners. Collaborate closely with clients to effectively tackle their energy challenges. Work with our technical experts and account managers on strategic project initiatives. Build and maintain strong client relationships and proactively address issues. Oversee project lifecycles to minimize risks and ensure compliance with budget, schedule, and quality standards. Identify and develop business opportunities with existing and prospective clients. Contribute to proposals and other business development efforts to secure new projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of relevant design, consulting, or project development experience. Strong track record in client engagement and relationship building. In-depth understanding of strategic energy project planning and emerging technologies. Exceptional communication, presentation, and technical writing skills. Experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. Able to work independently while leading cross-functional teams effectively. Highly Regarded Qualifications: Professional Registration. Knowledge and experience in: Thermal utility plants and distribution systems. Utility master planning and decarbonization initiatives. Cogeneration systems. Microgrid and distributed energy resource solutions. Data center energy solutions. Renewable energy projects. Advanced energy system modeling.
