LEAD RELATIONSHIP MANAGER - COMMERCIAL BANKING WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Step into a pivotal role as a Lead Relationship Manager in Commercial Banking. You will be responsible for forging and nurturing robust relationships with our commercial clients, focusing on delivering tailored product solutions that address their unique needs. Utilizing your expertise, you will manage transactions and profitability while minimizing portfolio risks, ensuring sustainable growth through proactive client engagement and outstanding service. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Establish and grow profitable relationships with prospects and clients, aligning with the bank's strategic objectives. Engage deeply with clients to ascertain their needs while upholding the bank's credit quality standards. Collaborate with various departments to provide custom solutions for clients and represent the bank in community outreach to attract new business. Develop a Strategic Relationship Plan for each client or prospect, setting clear revenue and growth objectives. Introduce all bank products and services to both existing and prospective clients, fostering comprehensive banking partnerships. Negotiate transactions and manage loan documentation processes to ensure compliance with established bank policies and sound credit judgments. Participate in community events to promote the bank and build lasting relationships. Work proactively with teams to address client needs, supporting our collective objectives. Analyze account activity and client profitability, preparing management reports that inform portfolio management strategies. Monitor portfolio quality, ensuring adherence to policies and addressing potential issues proactively. Keep abreast of market conditions and competitive products to continually enhance our client offerings. Assess troubled credits and collaborate with clients to develop solutions that mitigate risks. Serve as a product specialist, providing expert consultancy to clients and colleagues across diverse sectors. Manage a varied portfolio, striving for operational excellence and maximizing opportunities for cross-selling. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of experience in lending. A minimum of 5 years of credit experience. Additional Qualifications: Deep understanding of products and services relevant to commercial clients. Knowledge of commercial credit policies and banking operations. Demonstrated sales and marketing proficiency. Strong skills in credit analysis and accounting. Able to operate independently as well as in team collaboration. Proven ability to make informed business decisions autonomously. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Expertise in relationship management and cross-selling. Comprehensive understanding of commercial credit standards. Strong analytical abilities for risk assessment. Capable of working independently while thriving in collaborative environments. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation: The starting base salary ranges from $122,535 to $208,715 per year, with opportunities for bonuses or commissions based on performance.
