Quality Assurance Lead Contractor Location: Dallas 11511 Luna Rd, Farmers Branch, TX 75234d Projects / Initiatives Work on data-intensive applications supporting regulatory and business requirements including: FRY 9C FRY 14M / FRY 14Q Single Counterparty Credit Limit (FR2590) Basel III FDIC 370 / 371 Responsibilities Perform data and report testing for regulatory reporting applications Validate data accuracy across systems and databases Work closely with QA Analysts and Developers to ensure testing coverage Develop testing strategies, plans, and documentation Perform root-cause analysis and debugging Ensure SDLC and PMLC compliance Review test cases, scripts, and documentation Provide testing leadership, mentoring, and coordination Deliver testing milestones aligned with project timelines Must Have Skills SQL & testing methodologies Data analysis Python or R Data modeling & data warehouse concepts Software testing lifecycle knowledge Debugging & root cause analysis Flex / Nice to Have Regulatory reporting or financial regulations experience Banking domain knowledge Soft Skills Strong written and verbal communication Collaboration & teamwork Analytical thinking and attention to detail Education Bachelor's degree required (experience may substitute) Screening Questions How do you validate data between source and target: a) Same database (e.g., Oracle) b) Different databases (e.g., Oracle vs Teradata) Difference between functional testing and regression testing and your approach to each #M1 #DI-CB2 Ref: #404-IT Pittsburgh
