We are looking for a proactive Mid-Level Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in safeguarding our organization's digital assets. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures and systems to protect critical infrastructure and sensitive data. Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks effectively. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and security best practices. Monitor security systems proactively and respond to incidents with urgency and expertise. Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and emerging trends to bolster our defense mechanisms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security across all business processes seamlessly. Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders, ensuring everyone understands security protocols. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience in network or cybersecurity (3-5 years). In-depth understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST and ISO 27001. Proficiency in network, system, application, and data security strategies. Hands-on experience with security technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and SIEM. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Able to work independently as well as thrive in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CEH. Experience with cloud security platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with scripting and programming languages such as Python or PowerShell.
