Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager Supervisor: General Manager (GM), Area Coach (AC), Director of Operations (DO) Status: Non-Exempt Basic Purpose The Assistant Restaurant Manager (ARM) is essential to the smooth operation of the restaurant, partnering closely with the General Manager (GM) to achieve excellence in daily operations. As the AGM, you will be a beacon of leadership and organization, driving efficiency and ensuring that our brand standards are upheld. We are looking for a proactive individual with a professional demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to solve problems effectively. Major Responsibilities Operational Excellence: Lead shifts to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of tasks while maintaining our high-quality standards. Team Leadership: Inspire, coach, and support team members and shift managers to foster a customer-centric atmosphere. Safety & Compliance: Safeguard the health and safety of both customers and employees, ensuring compliance with all OSHA regulations. Training & Development: Engage in the training of staff aspiring for leadership roles, helping to create development plans and providing meaningful feedback. Recruiting & Onboarding: Work alongside the GM to assess staffing needs, interview candidates, and welcome new hires into a warm and inviting environment. Financial Performance: Support the GM in meeting the restaurant's financial targets. Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional service to all customers, prioritizing their satisfaction. Minimum of 2 years of restaurant experience with demonstrated leadership skills. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Proficient in English (reading, speaking, writing). Successful completion of the ServSafe Certification Course and Exam, with a current health card as per local/state regulations. Reliable transportation and clear background check required. Willingness to work an average of 45 hours a week with flexible availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays). Physical Requirements Must be able to stand and walk continuously throughout shifts. Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. Capable of performing movements such as walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stretching, and repetitive actions.
