ARDMS Ultrasound Technologist - Weekend Shifts

Summary: We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist who is fully competent in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing various diseases and conditions. This role is ideal for both experienced professionals and new graduates who are registered or registry eligible with ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography). New graduates must obtain registration within 12 months of hire. Work Environment: This full-time position primarily covers weekend shifts in a regional healthcare facility serving the Southeastern United States. Education & Certifications Registered or registry eligible with ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography). New graduates must achieve registration within 12 months of hire. Current AHA CPR certification is required and must be maintained. Experience & Skills Minimum of 1 year experience preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated technical expertise in diagnostic and vascular sonography. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to provide compassionate patient care across all age groups, understanding developmental needs. Dexterity, visual acuity, and physical mobility to perform duties including standing for long periods, bending, lifting, and responding to emergencies. Additional Requirements Must be able to communicate effectively and maintain positive interpersonal relationships. Position may involve contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials.
