Team Shift Supervisor Overview: As a Team Shift Supervisor at Team Lyders, you will play a vital role in our daily restaurant operations, assist in the training and development of our team members, and ensure our guests receive outstanding service. Your Daily Responsibilities: Lead and support team members throughout their shifts. Contribute to training and development for both new hires and existing employees. Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with Team Lyders' core values. Set an example for outstanding customer service and effective teamwork. Deliver a Consistent Customer Experience: Implement the MIC Success Routine to enhance operational efficiency. Organize, lead, and allocate crew resources to meet brand standards. Handle product inventory management and ordering in accordance with demand. Provide coaching to team members aimed at service excellence. Ensure the restaurant maintains cleanliness and equipment in top working condition. Oversee Restaurant Operations: Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Assist with administrative responsibilities, including organization of back-office tasks. Conduct CORE performance audits and offer coaching for improvements. Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards. Supervise cash handling and banking procedures on a daily basis. Are You the Right Fit? Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership or training role within a restaurant setting. Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to quickly solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to pass background screening and MVR checks. A valid driver's license is required for banking responsibilities. Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and extended shifts as needed. Physical Requirements: The physical demands listed below are essential for performing the responsibilities of this role: Regularly required to stand for extended periods. Engage in verbal communication to share ideas and instructions. Utilize hands and fingers for a variety of tasks including typing and handling items. Be able to perceive attributes of objects by touch. Frequent walking and maintaining balance while moving. Reach out with arms and hands. Lift and push/pull up to 40 pounds over short distances. Occasionally climb stairs or ladders, twist, and perform additional physical activities. Work Environment: This role typically involves exposure to both indoor and outdoor settings, with a moderate level of noise. Indoor conditions may include heat, cold, and exposure to various cleaning chemicals.
