Occupational Medicine Director

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Occupational Medicine Director to lead our occupational health services. This role includes providing vital Oversight Physician Services to enhance our Clinic's operations, requiring a part-time commitment of only 8 hours per month on an ongoing basis. Position Overview: As the Occupational Medicine Director, you will oversee the Clinic's medical team, which consists of a Physician Assistant, Occupational Health Nurse, and Certified Medical Assistant. Your primary goal will be to ensure that we deliver exceptional services to the Department of State ('DOS') workforce located at the Blackstone Site. Key Responsibilities: Provide oversight and review Clinic protocols for comprehensive occupational health services. Assist in the evaluation and enhancement of medical surveillance protocols. Supervise the Physician Assistant and collaborate effectively on patient care initiatives. Oversee CLIA waiver laboratory services and provide approval for formulary items. Champion the procurement of essential medical supplies and medications. Conduct quarterly quality control evaluations of Clinic cases to ensure high standards of care. Working Schedule: This position entails an 8-hour work commitment each month, which can be performed virtually. There may also be opportunities for on-site visits, and travel costs will be covered by Sterling Medical.
