Immediate Supervisor: Manager on Duty (MOD) Position Summary: Join our kitchen team as a Culinary Specialist, responsible for cooking, preparing, and packaging delicious food products that meet our high operational and quality standards. Job Duties: Expertly cook, prepare, and package food items, ensuring adherence to operational and quality guidelines. Skillfully operate various cooking stations including the dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food prep areas as assigned. Strictly comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Conduct regular cleaning and sanitation tasks, including trash disposal, mopping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and managing used grease in line with operational standards. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality. Additional Duties: Diligently report any customer or employee complaints/issues to the MOD. Safely move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds. Be willing to perform other job-related duties as assigned or required. Time/Shift Expectations: This position requires a flexible schedule with irregular hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications and Job Requirements: Knowledge/Skills: General knowledge of the restaurant or retail industry. Basic math and reading skills. Effective verbal and written communication abilities. Strong ability to follow directions accurately. Excellent multi-tasking skills. Work Environment: This role involves continuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting in a fast-paced restaurant atmosphere. Expect frequent exposure to heat from cooking appliances and hot liquids, as well as occasional exposure to cold environments while stocking food items and variable temperatures based on external weather conditions.
