Company: Highmark Health Job Description: Job Summary Become a vital part of Highmark Health's innovative team as an HR Shared Services Analyst with a focus on Payroll Processing. In this role, you'll provide analytical support that enhances employee experiences and addresses various administrative, compliance, and operational challenges across HR functions. If you're skilled in payroll tax and familiar with UKG, we want to hear from you! Essential Responsibilities Collaborate with the HR Operations team and Centers of Excellence in diverse areas. Analyze HR survey data and system information to propose enhancements and maintain programs. Skills needed include database creation, complex queries, data analysis tools, and metrics development. Engage in project teams that aim to streamline administrative processes and systems, while fulfilling management requests. Communicate effectively across all levels of staff to quickly identify and resolve concerns. Create reports to monitor operational and performance metrics within Functional Administration. Participate in testing new systems and system enhancements as a team member. Perform data analytics to assist management in explaining variances. Conduct audits of employee data and compliance reporting. Assist in preparation and management of regulatory compliance requirements. Support program administration and assessment by employing project management methodologies. Execute additional duties as assigned. Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration/Management, or a related field. Substitution: 4 years of relevant experience can substitute for degree. Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources. Preferred: At least 3 years of experience in Benefits Administration. Licenses or Certifications None required. Skills Knowledge of HR laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities. Proficient in managing multiple priorities efficiently. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, planning, and presentation skills. Detail-oriented and self-motivated professional. Excellent customer service capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Language Skills: None required. Travel Requirement: 0% - 25% PHYSICAL, MENTAL DEMANDS and WORKING CONDITIONS Position Type: Office-based. This role may involve teaching or training regularly, with rare travel between offices. It does not require physical selling of products or services, and there is no necessity for a physical work site. Lifting Requirements: Regular lifting of up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting of 10 to 25 pounds; rare lifting of 25 to 50 pounds.
