Department Overview The Enterprise Solutions Advisor Team at Motorola Solutions offers a unique blend of skills encompassing customer engagement in marketing and sales, business development, and technical expertise. This team spearheads the sales of Motorola Solutions' Enterprise Radio Systems, Control Center Software, and Broadband/LTE offerings across various territories and markets through impactful customer interactions, including meetings, presentations, webinars, demonstrations, and industry conferences. The Solutions Advisors provide essential domain expertise, assisting sales teams in articulating the value of Motorola Solutions' core Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and adjacent technology solutions, including WAVE broadband applications and other software solutions. Job Description As a Solutions Advisor, you will play a crucial role in developing competitive strategies, influencing RFPs, enhancing customer engagement, and providing valuable feedback to the product teams to optimize the sales process within the Enterprise Solutions portfolio. Your key responsibilities will include: Identifying new and expansion opportunities for system sales across assigned verticals, products, and territories. Delivering strategy and training to both direct and indirect distribution teams including Account Executives and Channel Sales Executives. Providing expert support for system applications and solutions during pre-sale phases. Executing technical presentations and demonstrations that clearly highlight the advantages of proposed solutions to clients. Developing competitive positioning and effective strategies to win opportunities. Overseeing the technical aspects of proposed solutions while liaising with the Engineering team as needed. Ensuring customer requirements align with product roadmaps. Assisting in the development and qualification of future sales features based on customer needs. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is highly preferred. 4+ years of experience in a relevant field such as technical solutions selling, sales engineering, marketing, or IT networking. Familiarity with AVTEC solutions is strongly preferred. Experience as a Sales Engineer or Sales Solutions Engineer. Background in promoting hardware and software solutions. Hands-on experience with Motorola Solutions products is advantageous. Exposure to mobile technology/software for Public Safety or Commercial/Industrial sectors. Exceptional communication skills and strong customer interaction abilities are essential. A dynamic personality, comfortable in presentation settings. Aptitude for effective communication and knowledge transfer. Location & Travel Requirements: This position is remote, with candidates being able to work from anywhere within the United States. Travel throughout North America is anticipated at 30% - 50%, and candidates must reside near a major airport.
