Residential Electrical Technician

In this crucial role, you will perform a variety of electrical repairs and installations for residential clients, focusing on their safety and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment in residential environments. Diagnose electrical system issues using tools and equipment to identify and resolve problems. Connect wires to various electrical components such as circuit breakers and transformers. Inspect systems and components for hazards to ensure compliance with safety codes. Plan installation layouts according to specifications and local regulations. Install grounding leads and connect power cables to various equipment. Run conduit and pull insulated wires to complete electrical circuits. Construct and secure electrical boxes to accommodate switches and outlets. Provide sketches and cost estimates for your work. Collaborate with other departments to maintain effective service records. Ensure job sites are tidy and respect customer properties after completing work. Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle. Uphold a professional image in all customer interactions. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician in residential service and maintenance. GED or High School Diploma required; an Associate degree in a related field is preferred. Strong math and reading comprehension skills. In-depth knowledge of electrical concepts, codes, and safety practices. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Own essential trade tools. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Able to pass background checks and drug screenings.
