Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.00 Join a dynamic team and take the next step in your career as an Assistant Restaurant Manager! As a key player in our restaurant operations, you will assist the General Manager in enhancing customer satisfaction, maintaining food safety standards, and promoting a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Support with hiring, training, and developing team members for restaurant success. Conduct onboarding for new hires through our learning management system. Represent the General Manager in meetings and training when needed. Uphold WKS Values: Integrity, Loyalty, Winning, Service, and Teamwork. Maintain employee uniform and grooming standards. Report misconduct and policy violations promptly to the District Leader and Human Resources. Operations Management: Assist with food ordering, scheduling, and inventory management. Manage opening and closing procedures, including security protocols. Conduct daily walk-throughs and ensure compliance with health audits. Perform weekly inventory counts and reports as needed. Assist in food preparation and service during peak times. Customer Service: Ensure customer satisfaction and service speed, prioritizing friendliness and accuracy. Handle customer complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach. Financial Management: Collaborate with the General Manager to meet financial goals. Manage cash handling and conduct audits for accuracy. Physical Requirements & Work Environment: The Assistant Manager should be capable of a range of physical activities including but not limited to: Stamina for standing and walking for long periods. Lifting up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds with assistance. Communication with customers and co-workers effectively. Handling cleaning chemicals safely as part of our cleaning program. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a restaurant. Must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma is required; a degree in hospitality is preferred. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of health regulations and ServSafe certification is required. Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems. Comfort with technology platforms for communication and training.
