Patient Service and Front Desk Specialist

No prior optical experience? No worries! We provide comprehensive training and resources to help you excel in this rewarding industry, dedicated to helping patients see and live their best lives. In this position, you'll report directly to the Office General Manager. Weekend and evening shifts will be required. You Will: Ensure a personalized and positive check-in/check-out experience for patients, promoting a timely and seamless flow. Become knowledgeable in various insurance plans to assist patients in understanding their options upon arrival and departure. Support appointment confirmations and patient outreach in collaboration with available doctors. Manage multiple phone lines, welcome patients, schedule appointments, and assist with various office tasks as needed. Have the opportunity to cross-train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians based on office requirements. Work alongside doctors and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience. About You: Previous experience in front desk, reception, or other customer-facing roles involving administrative and clerical responsibilities. Highly organized with an aptitude for prioritizing tasks even in high-pressure environments while maintaining top-tier service. Flexible and adaptable, able to take on multiple roles as needed. A friendly and patient-focused individual thriving in a fast-paced setting. A collaborative team player dedicated to providing the best possible patient experience. Proficient with computers and possess outstanding oral and written communication skills. Exhibit professionalism and problem-solving abilities when addressing patient service queries.
