Join Our Team as an Entry-Level Electronic Technician! In this exciting role, you will assemble, troubleshoot, connect, and test electronic assemblies of basic to moderate complexity. Key Responsibilities: Assemble junction boxes, electronic controls, and other assemblies according to mechanical and electrical drawings. Install and test completed electronic assemblies. Act as an inspector during final electronics checkout. Work closely with manufacturing to ensure proper installation and testing of completed electronic assemblies. Participate in reviews of wiring diagrams and interconnect drawings. Troubleshoot electronic assemblies for both production and aftermarket support. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to established procedures, rules, and regulations. Ensure resource conservation by using equipment and supplies efficiently. Contribute to team success by training others in moderately complex electronic assembly tasks. Inspect all work prior to passing it on to the next operation. Document actions by completing production and quality forms. What We’re Looking For: Ability to safely use small hand and power tools. Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings and Bills of Material. Basic computer skills are necessary. Working knowledge of wiring diagrams, interconnect drawings, ladder logic, schematics, and Gerber files. Able to bench troubleshoot wiring using available diagrams and discrete circuits that include relays, diodes, transistors, capacitors, resistors, and DC battery chargers. Familiar with the use of millimeters and power supplies. Strong attention to detail, able to work independently and follow written instructions. Capability to assist in training new employees on basic to moderate testing tasks. High School diploma, GED, or a combination of relevant work experience and skill development is required. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English. Ideally, an Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of work/military experience and skill development. Preferred experience of 1-2 years in an electronics technician role. Physical Demands: Classification as Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level by the US Dept of Labor. Frequent standing and walking; frequent bending/stooping, and squatting/kneeling. Lift up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance; lift up to 40 pounds frequently. Carry up to 40 pounds occasionally and push/pull weights as needed.
