Full-time Facility Maintenance Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW Join our team as a Facility Maintenance Specialist, where your skills will be essential in providing our guests and associates with an outstanding experience. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, ensuring a clean environment, and keeping guest rooms in perfect condition. You'll follow the tasks outlined in the Green Shield Binder as directed by management, ensuring efficiency and adherence to our high company standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Dedicate yourself to delivering top-notch experiences for guests and associates. Work independently to complete essential maintenance responsibilities while adhering to company standards. Respond promptly to guest requests and diligently follow through according to company guidelines. Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of the property as detailed in the Green Shield Binder to guarantee a pristine environment. Execute repair requests following our work order process with professionalism and timeliness. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as outlined in the Green Shield Binder. Follow the daily Green Shield Inspection schedule, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed on time. Maintain accurate records in the Green Shield Binder, including PM deficiencies and inspection results. Utilize established workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet company quality standards. Keep the maintenance area organized and secure, ensuring all tools are well-maintained. Ensure cleanliness in boiler, electrical, HVAC, and fire sprinkler rooms, complying with company and local standards. Verify fire safety equipment functionality and ensure all inspections are current. Adhere to all safety and security policies, including OSHA and ADA regulations. Assist with pool and spa maintenance as necessary, ensuring compliance with all policies and local regulations. Respond to emergencies at the property or nearby locations as directed by management. Coordinate with external vendors when instructed by management. ADDITIONAL DUTIES Help with cleaning various hotel areas as assigned by management. Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the hotel. Perform additional duties as requested by the management team. BENEFITS Weekly Pay! QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED; plus one to three months of relevant experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. WORK ENVIRONMENT Regularly required to remain stationary and navigate various areas while operating tools and equipment. The position involves accessing low areas and balancing while navigating heights. Occasionally push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequently work outdoors in diverse weather conditions. Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and in the presence of fumes or chemicals. May require travel to support other sites within a reasonable distance.
