In this pivotal role, you will drive both short- and long-term strategic initiatives, collaborating closely with the Chief Medical Officer and the Clinical and Medical Affairs Department. Your key responsibilities will encompass providing cross-functional leadership in business operations, championing process improvements, and fostering operational excellence throughout the organization. You will play a central role in resource planning within the department and will be instrumental in shaping our R&D and business development strategies. Engagement with professional advocacy organizations and establishing scientific steering committees will be significant components of this role. Ideal candidates will possess a PharmD or PhD in life sciences and at least 12 years of relevant experience in the biotech or biopharma industry, or an MD with a minimum of 6 years of experience. Extensive leadership experience in clinical development, medical affairs, and clinical operations is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding communication skills, diplomacy, and strong networking capabilities. A thorough understanding of drug development, life-cycle management, and healthcare compliance is crucial.
