Job Description

Scrum Master role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of systems or cloud platforms as a product within the organization. Responsibilities include - - As a servant leader, guide and coach team(s) on agile practices. Agile Delivery and Scrum Leadership • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Reviews, and Retrospectives. • Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement. • Optimize flow, throughput, and value delivery for medium to high complexity initiatives. • Use metrics to assess delivery health, maturity, and performance. Release Planning and Coordination • Plan, schedule, and coordinate releases across multiple teams and applications. • Maintain integrated release calendars with enterprise visibility. • Coordinate development, testing, deployment, and post-release activities. • Validate release readiness, deployment plans, runbooks, and release notes. • Support Program Increment planning and release readiness events. Dependency, Risk, and Change Management • Identify and manage cross-team dependencies and impediments. • Ensure alignment with enterprise change management and governance standards. • Escalate risks impacting scope, quality, or timelines. • Manage releases in complex or regulated environments. Visibility, Metrics, and Stakeholder Collaboration • Provide clear reporting on delivery plans, release status, risks, and outcomes. • Track KPIs such as release frequency, cycle time, success rates, and defects. • Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. • Represent teams in Scrum of Scrums and ART-level syncs. Tooling, DevOps, and Operational Excellence • Use JIRA for sprint execution, release tracking, dashboards, and reporting. • Partner with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines and automation. • Support service management activities including change, incident, and problem management. • Drive process improvement, standardization, and efficiency. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Required Skills & Experience 5+ Yearss working as Scrum Master with exposure and understanding of Azure Cloud Platforms Minimum of three prior Scrum Master roles across varied team sizes, cultures, and working setups (co-located/distributed) Deep knowledge of Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, CI/CD, Automated Testing, Agile Games Effective facilitation skills for agile ceremonies and meetings Effective communication - Written Verbal Desired Skills • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks. • Hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or Release Manager. • Release planning, coordination, and dependency management experience. • Risk identification, mitigation, and escalation skills. • JIRA expertise for delivery and release management. • Solid understanding of SDLC and release lifecycles. • Metrics-driven mindset with strong analytical skills. • Clear written and verbal communication. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. • Servant leadership and team coaching capabilities. Nice to Have Skills • SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Release Manager, or SAFe Agilist certification. • Experience in enterprise or regulated environments. • DevOps and CI/CD pipeline knowledge. • Cloud platform experience - MS Azure, AWS, GCP. • Service management tool familiarity such as ServiceNow or Remedy. • Reporting and visualization tools experience including Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence, Power BI, or Tableau. • Technical background in development, testing, or infrastructure.
