Overview We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team, specializing in steel fabrication and welding. The ideal candidate will perform welding operations on steel components, ensuring strong, precise welds according to blueprints and specifications. Skills and Experience Key Responsibilities:Perform MIG welding on steel parts, assemblies, and structures. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols for steel projects. Ensure welds meet quality standards and project specifications. Maintain welding equipment, including wire feed, shielding gas, and consumables. Follow safety protocols for steel welding, including PPE use and proper ventilation. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project goals. Identify and report equipment issues or safety concerns to the supervisor. Qualifications:Proven experience welding steel using MIG techniques. 3+ years of consecutive welding experience with welding being your latest job. Knowledge of steel types, welding consumables, and proper techniques. Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred.
