A&M’s PEPI practice, strategically positioned across the US, focuses on assisting upper middle market and large-cap private equity firms in elevating the operating results of their portfolio companies, specifically targeting companies valued between $50 million to over $1 billion. What will you be doing? As part of our Technology Industry Group, you will engage in structured initiatives to create and capture value. Our services encompass a comprehensive array of performance management tools for corporate and equity buyers including mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, joint ventures, and alliances. You will be involved throughout the entire deal lifecycle, from pre-deal operational assessments to implementation post-deal. Your responsibilities will include: Taking ownership of major client deliverables such as financial models and presentations with minimal support from senior project teams. Leading detailed analyses that align with project goals and client requirements. Designing and implementing tailored cost optimization strategies to meet the specific needs and strategic objectives of each business. Managing workstreams, including synergy assessments, cost savings initiatives, and organizational design. Assisting in core operational due diligence and performance improvement efforts to pinpoint risks and evaluate overall business health. Creating comprehensive project plans, timelines, and deliverables that meet client expectations. Contributing to business development by assisting in proposals and client presentations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic credentials. 2-4+ years of consulting experience with technology clients, focusing on buy-side and sell-side operational and financial due diligence, synergy assessments, performance improvement, and transaction execution. Experience in leading business transformation workstreams. Functional expertise in areas such as Finance, Accounting, HR, and Organizational Design. Skills in Leadership, Stakeholder Engagement, Communications Planning, Supply Chain, and Operations. Proficiency in Salesforce, Marketing, Pricing, and Margin Optimization. Strong capabilities in Knowledge Management and Program Leadership. Experience in technology sector M&A and performance improvement. Team-oriented with adaptability and eagerness to learn. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with excellent communication abilities. Driven, analytical thinker with a proactive approach. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time. The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $130,000 annually, based on various factors including education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
