divh2Cardiology Clinic Patient Care Assistant/h2p24 hrs per week, Monday - Friday (three 8-hr shifts) Will not float | No weekends or holidays Minimum pay- $19.10 per hr/ppPCA tasks- vitals, manual BP checks, specific reading, EKGs, place cardiac monitors on patients to wear home; stocking, cleaning, turning over rooms/ppMain campus sees approx. 60 pts per day in clinic. 1 PCA to 15 pts is average./ppThe Cardiology Clinic sees patients at some regional locations throughout Ohio. Nurses and PCAs may be assigned to work at one of these locations on any given day. The team meets at Nationwide Childrens Main Campus and rides together in an NCH vehicle. Team members share driving to and from these locations./ppValid Ohio drivers license required BMV check required upon hire/ppJob Description Summary:/ppPerforms basic supportive care to specified patients and families under the direction and supervision of an RN or Care Manager. Collects, documents, and reports data to the RN or Care Manager./ppJob Description:/ppEssential Functions:/pulliCollects, documents, and reports vital signs. May complete screening questions and documentation or minor specimen testing as assigned./liliPromotes general patient safety. Holds and positions patients and assists with procedures. Prepares materials and supplies as delegated./liliRemains compliant with HIPAA, maintains professionalism, and ensures confidentiality of patient information./liliEnsures environmental standards are met and all unit and patient areas are stocked, cleaned, and maintained./liliPerforms clerical and administrative tasks as necessary./liliCompletes continuing education and participates in offered educational opportunities.
