The Opportunity: The customer is one of the largest Energy & Utilities companies in the USA. We are modernizing their legacy work & asset management applications and moving them to Cloud. This role will be working with Business SME/ Product Owner to understand requirements and define features that need to be prioritized for development. Gathering business requirements around metrics and identifying the Features and creating User Stories for the Product Backlog is another critical activity for this role. Below are the key requirements for this role: 6+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst with expertise in the Utilities domain preferred Excellent communication & documentation skills should work independently Experience in large-scale modernization initiatives is a plus Presenting requirements & collaboration across cross-functional teams Assess existing applications and prepare requirement documents. Prepare Functional Requirement Documents & User Stories. Work with Business users to elicit & validate requirements for the Modernization of the application Experienced in Agile Scrum & SDLC methodologies Ready to work with multi-vendor teams from distributed locations Soft Skills: Pro-active, Good communication skills, Understanding conversation with Business, Good Analytical & Problem-Solving skills Good to Have skills: Awareness of Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) Awareness of Sharepoint, BI tools Awareness UI Technologies Understanding UX designs
