Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or turning centers) to produce precision metal parts. Load materials, monitor machine performance, and perform quality inspections on finished components. Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and technical drawings. Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain part accuracy and consistency. Perform basic preventive maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues. Maintain accurate production records and follow all company safety standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; CNC training or certification preferred. 1-3 years of CNC machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work well in a team setting. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
