Job Description Principal System Administrator, Clearance Required - TS/SCI w/Polygraph Please note, this position requires all candidates to currently possess an active Top-Secret SCI Clearance with a Polygraph. This position is not an opportunity to be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance. The Work: This contract will enable the Government to obtain National system and Technical expertise across a wide range of prototype, development, and deployment tasks. This effort will support the full spectrum of processing missions from collection and detection through access to the data from our customers, users, and consumers. Some requirements will start as prototypes or quick reaction capability efforts, while others will start as development activities in support of larger scale programs. System engineering and government engineering review processes will be utilized to ascertain how requirements are integrated into the overall architecture and when/how prototypes should be incorporated. Successful prototypes will be evaluated for implementation by joint mission and customer teams for further investment potential and integration. Wherever possible, existing corporate services will be leveraged to support the requirements provided. Minimum Qualifications: A current Top-Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required. A bachelors degree from an accredited university, or an additional four (4) years of technical experience similar in scope. Twenty (20) years of technical experience as a systems engineer or administrator utilizing Unix or Red HatLinux and similar distributions. Experience configuring, updating, and mainting Red Hat Linux systems. Bonus Points: Experience configuring AWS cloud systems. As a System Administrator, You Will: Perform regular system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Linux-based systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.) Ensure the stability, security, and integrity of Linux servers, including patching, configuration, and updates Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control for Linux environments Perform system backups and data recovery procedures Monitor and optimize server performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions Troubleshoot and resolve issues with system hardware, software, and network components Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl Work Site: Ft.
