Flexible 8-, 10-, 12-hour shifts Monday-Friday with one Saturday shift every 5-6 weeks! A reasonable caseload that allows you to provide exceptional, high quality care while maintaining a good work life balance 24/7 support from our full-time Board Certified physicians and APRNs, Chaplains and Social Workers Interdisciplinary team work to support outstanding patient and family care Position Description: The Admission/Float RN reports to a Kansas City Hospice Team Manager. He/she is responsible for providing informational visits and hospice admissions, and/or making visits as needed to support the IDT in providing care to patients and families. While based from the Overland Park, KS, office, this position is expected to develop competence and work as needed throughout the organization. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Requirements: Current Kansas and Missouri RN license. Stellar critical thinking skills and the ability to work autonomously Minimum of one year experience in caring for actively dying patients preferred. Home Health or Hospice experience preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Licensed drivers with reliable transportation and auto insurance. CPR certification required. Good interpersonal and communications skills are required.
