Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Radiology Technologist to join our Oregon Urgent Care team on a Full-Time basis. Provides technical skills involving radiology and laboratory. Performs radiographs of various parts of the body to assist physician and/or physician assistant in the detection of foreign bodies and/or diagnosis of disease or injury. Supports the Urgent Care Team by rooming patients, obtaining vitals, identifying and communicating patient safety concerns. Performs CLIA waived Laboratory testing. The Radiology Technologist Float with go between our Urgent Care and Orthopedic Clinic locations. Essential Functions: Demonstrate competency with the Medical Imaging Equipment and in all radiology procedures Protect patients from radiation and mechanical hazards Prepare studies for interpretation by the Radiologist Knowledge of EHR and PACS systems Assists with data collection and report preparation for Medical Imaging Department Supports and assumes direct patient care responsibilities as needed Position Requirements: Required: Associate's Degree Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology Currently licensed by the Board of Licensing and Regulation in the State of Wisconsin as a Licensed Radiographer and in good standing. Registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists. Required Certification: Current BLS certification Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements. Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills - Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter.
