Utilities Engineer - Water & Wastewater

We are looking for a Utilities Engineer to contribute to our Municipal Infrastructure / Water & Wastewater projects on a full-time, direct basis at our office in Winter Haven, FL.Primary Responsibilities: Technical lead and Engineer of Record for planning, modeling, analysis, and design of public works infrastructure projects with a focus on wet utilities (e.g.: wastewater collection & conveyance systems, water distribution & facilities, water and wastewater treatment, master planning, etc.). Prepare construction drawings and permit applications; this involves coordinating design activities with other design disciplines, researching materials & equipment, and providing support to colleagues in the water/wastewater and municipal market sectors. Interact and coordinate with municipal clients to ensure their project goals and needs are satisfied. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed. Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (preferably a BS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering); recent graduates are encouraged to apply! Professional Engineer (PE) License Minimum of 5 years of design and project management experience Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with engineering tools, experience with (AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD and WaterGEMS) is a plus! Proficiency on all standard Microsoft Office software applications (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook). Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision while displaying a positive attitude. Excellent organizational skills, especially with a proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
