Must have Skill Set: experience using Bridgeport Mills Overview: We are seeking an experienced Machine Builder to assemble, build, and troubleshoot custom machinery from prints and schematics. This role requires strong mechanical skills, hands-on assembly experience, and the ability to operate manual machining equipment, including Bridgeport mills, to support build and fit-up activities. Job Duties: Assemble custom machines, subassemblies, and mechanical systems from engineering drawings Perform mechanical fit-up, alignment, and troubleshooting during machine builds Operate Bridgeport mills to machine, modify, and rework components as needed Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve build issues Support machine testing, debugging, and final adjustments Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as a Machine Builder or Mechanical Assembler Hands-on experience operating Bridgeport mills (required) Strong mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience working with custom or special-purpose machinery preferred Basic machining and fabrication skills a plus Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
