Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to provide high-quality emergency care within a 14,000-volume Emergency Department. Provide Critical Care in a Dynamic Environment As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for the independent evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions, including trauma cases. You will be an integral part of a dedicated team, working in a fast-paced and challenging environment where your expertise will make a real difference. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with various emergency medical conditions. Conduct thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop and implement treatment plans. Perform a wide range of emergency procedures, including intubations, chest tubes, and critical care. Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team. Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Qualifications: Education: Board-certified/board-eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of emergency medicine experience with extensive trauma exposure. FM/IM candidates with ED experience, including trauma logs, are also accepted. Licensure: Eligible for a North Dakota Medical License. Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required. Skills: Comfortable with all ages, procedures, and trauma cases. Schedule: Full-time, 12-hour shifts (day/night/weekend/holiday rotations). 24-hour physician coverage with 12 hours of mid-level support during peak hours. Why Join Us? Annualized: Approximately $615,600 (based on 2,160 hours/year, including bonuses). $50,000 sign-on bonus. Paid professional liability insurance. 1099 Independent Contractor (Travel): $285/hr base compensation. Relocation Assistance: $15,000 relocation assistance is available.
