Water Resources Engineer

Job Description A civil engineering firm located in multiple locations is seeking a Water Resources Engineer for their Louisville team! Responsibilities: Key point of contact for clients, contractors and local government officials Assist with review of project scope/proposals Design/manage treatment, wastewater collection and water system conveyance facilities Prepare grant applications and secure project funding for small to medium-sized systems Design wastewater treatment facilities improvements to meet environmental regulations Manage water, wastewater and reclaimed water supply through planning, modeling and permitting Mentor/train junior staff Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering 5+ years of Civil Engineering experience PE License Design experience with a focus on water resources and/or environmental engineering Knowledge of the preparation/review of Engineering Plans and Specifications Experience with hydrologic, hydraulic and groundwater software Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, XPSWMM, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and WaterCAD Experience with HECRAS, HECHMS, PondPak, HY-8, and GeoPAK Drainage Salary is commensurate with experience.
