We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. We are seeking candidates for Welder Lead roles. Compensation for these opportunities is $21.00-$35.00 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information! What you will do as the Welder Lead: Weld metal components together with a variety of gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machine parts, plant equipment, and small and large structural weldments. Weld per instructions and/or engineering drawings Weld parts using approved welding procedures Support the setup of equipment, layout, and weld preparations Position and clamp together components prior to welding Perform related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding Verify conformance of finished workpiece to first article inspection with limited supervision Perform all operations with the highest regard to personal safety and the safety of others, and at a level of performance acceptable to the supervisor Responsible for housekeeping in the general area What you need to be a Welder Lead: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, written instructions, manuals, safety rules, etc. Additional shop skills are preferred Proficiency in the use of forklifts, cranes, slings, chains, hooks, and other appropriate devices or equipment is preferred Ability to stand, crouch, and walk with or without reasonable accommodations Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations Start earning weekly paychecks - apply today!
