They are analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of presenting clear financial insights to leadership in a high-visibility DoD environment. Seeking a cleared, mid-level Budget Analyst to support a fast-paced Department of Defense (DoD) program office in Huntsville, AL. This role focuses on managing key elements of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) lifecycle, providing financial oversight, cost analysis, and SAP-based financial system support. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with GFEBS, LMP, SAP Financials, and Army ERP systems, along with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership decision-making. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on PPBE support using: Army General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) Army Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) Equivalent ERP and BI platforms Analyze and resolve SAP Financials and Asset Management issues Support: GFEBS transaction code troubleshooting Dormant Account Review - Quarterly (DAR-Q) reconciliation Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT) Army CCaR system records Resolve SAP IDoc errors involving: Government Purchase Cards Defense Travel System (DTS) Purchase Requisitions Purchase Orders Resolve: Unmatched transactions Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) Analyze civilian payroll postings and correct erroneous budget entries Support Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiatives Prepare: Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) Sales Orders Purchase Requisitions Purchase Orders Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs) Evaluate and resolve DCPS and ATAAPS errors after payroll execution Develop financial analysis and cost reports for leadership Required Qualifications Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (Required) U.S. Citizenship (Required due to program sensitivity) Bachelor's degree from an accredited university 10 years of relevant experience Master's degree may substitute for one year of experience Highly proficient in: GFEBS Army LMP software SAP Financials Strong knowledge of PPBE process Experience resolving SAP IDoc errors and financial system discrepancies Strong analytical and presentation skills Proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with: Power BI Power Query Dashboard development Experience supporting Army financial systems in a program office environment Audit support and FIAR experience Screening QuestionsFull Name:Bachelor's Degree (Major, University, Completion Year):Master's Degree (If applicable - Major, University, Completion Year):Are you a U.S. Citizen?
