Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking an Interventional Radiographer for a top Healthcare client. This specialist role requires expertise, knowledge, and skill in performing complex Vascular Interventional Radiology (IR) and angiographic imaging procedures within a dedicated angiography environment. The Radiographer provides essential care and specialized services to critically through acutely ill adult and geriatric patients, ensuring adherence to all hospital and departmental policies throughout a wide range of clinical procedures. Job Responsibilities Provide specialized technical expertise in performing vascular angiographic imaging and a wide variety of Interventional Radiology procedures. Execute clinical procedures across specific areas, including Neurological, Thoracic, Abdominal, Genitourinary, Gastrointestinal Nonvascular, Peripheral, Venous Access, and Miscellaneous IR cases. Adhere strictly to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and compliant procedural environment. Operate and manage complex imaging and monitoring equipment required for interventional angiography. Ensure all care and services provided to adult through geriatric patients demonstrate an understanding of their functional and developmental needs. Collaborate closely with Interventional Radiologists and the clinical team to optimize image acquisition and procedural outcomes. Maintain meticulous documentation of all procedures, equipment settings, and patient responses. Requirements Education Graduation from an accredited School of Radiology or Radiology special procedures program is preferred. Experience One (1) year of experience is preferred; candidates with strong prior general imaging experience and a focus on interventional and neuro cases will be considered with less than one year. Certifications/Licenses Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license is required. Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) certification is required. Registered Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS) or Cardiovascular Registered (CV Registered) certification is preferred. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date. Skills Demonstrated expertise in specialized Vascular Interventional Radiology technology and procedures. Strong knowledge base in clinical procedural areas, particularly focusing on neuro-interventional cases. Proven ability to assess and cater to the functional and developmental needs of critically to acutely ill adult and geriatric patients.
