Wright Brothers is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to support the Financial Controls Manager in administering, improving, and analyzing core financial and operational technology platforms. These include Viewpoint Vista, Power BI, Spreadsheet Server, telematics integrations, and internal automations. This role focuses on data analysis, system configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, and process documentation to improve accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls across accounting, equipment, project management, and operations departments. Position Description Financial Systems Analyst Responsibilities: ERP & Systems Support the Financial Controls Manager with day-to-day administration of Viewpoint Vista. Assist with system configuration and maintenance. Research and help resolve user issues by reviewing system tables, logs, and records. Document system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures. Help maintain data integrity through periodic validation checks and exception reviews. Coordinate with IT and business departments to test system patches, updates, and integrations. Reporting & Analytics Assist in developing and maintaining Power BI datasets, data models, and reports. Create, test, and maintain Spreadsheet Server queries and expressions. Validate report outputs against source data. Support the development of operational dashboards. Identify data inconsistencies or anomalies and escalate findings for review. Financial Controls & Process Improvement Support month-end and quarter-end financial control activities. Assist with testing intercompany elimination entries and consolidated reporting tools. Map, document, and help improve processes. Maintain internal documentation, control checklists, and system change logs. Integrations & Automations Assist with API and system integrations. Test data pipelines to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability. Support the design and maintenance of automated workflows. Monitor system errors and participate in root-cause analysis and resolution efforts. User Support & Training Help develop user reference materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting guides. Track and assist with triage of user-reported issues. Provide basic end-user training. Position Requirements Financial Systems Analyst Requirements: Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, or related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a financial systems or controls role, with exposure to ERP platforms, process improvement efforts, and system integrations or automations. Working knowledge of ERP systems and financial applications, with experience supporting users in a system-driven environment. Technical Skills Basic understanding of accounting and financial operations, including general ledger, job cost, accounts payable, payroll, or project accounting. Ability to analyze and validate data by reconciling reports to source system records. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to accuracy and detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, and data analysis. Experience using business analytics and reporting tools, including SQL and Power BI, to develop and support data models, dashboards, and analytical solutions. Exposure to system integrations, APIs, automated workflows (e.g., Power Automate), and testing ERP updates or integrations in coordination with IT or vendors. Systems, Documentation & Process Support Experience documenting business processes, system configurations, and standard operating procedures. Ability to support data integrity through review, validation, and exception analysis. Collaboration & Communication Ability to work cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, and IT teams. Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users. Physical & Site Requirements Ability to read, hear, and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work long shifts with non-standard break times. Ability to work at heights up to 100 feet and in enclosed spaces. Ability to walk moderate distances (½ mile or more) on job sites. Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds occasionally. Must wear required PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots. Other Requirements Valid driver's license. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
