Medical Bill Review Liaison / Subject Matter Expert (Auto Injury Claims)Overview This is a non-adjusting role designed to serve as a subject matter expert and liaison between internal first-party auto injury adjusters and an external medical bill review vendor. The individual in this role will independently build the function, identify workflow gaps, and drive improvements across medical bill processing operations. The position requires prior exposure to first-party auto injury medical claims to understand terminology, billing logic, and workflows-but this is not an adjusting role. Required Skills & Experience Self-starter mindset with the ability to independently build and define a new function 1-2+ years of experience supporting or handling first-party auto injury medical claims (PIP, bodily injury medical bills, etc.) Understanding of medical billing terminology and workflows Experience processing medical bills at scale Ability to analyze data to identify: Workflow bottlenecks Process gaps Root causes of delays or errors Experience working within medical bill review or adjudication systems MedFlow experience is acceptable but not required Familiarity with: CPT codes ICD-9 / ICD-10 terminology Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Skills & Experience Prior leadership or informal lead experience Demonstrated ability to: Ask thoughtful questions Learn complex systems quickly Explain processes clearly to different audiences Experience influencing process improvements without direct authority Curiosity and continuous improvement mindset
