Industry Leader in the Capital Region is looking for an emerging HR professional to help lead its HR function. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing employee relations, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and overseeing benefits. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive workplace culture. • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals and compliance requirements. • Work directly on the manufacturing floor to engage with employees, understand workforce needs, and support operational initiatives. • Conduct training sessions on HR policies, compliance, and employee development programs. • Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvements and policy enhancements. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and ensure organizational compliance. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). • Minimum of 5 years HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment. • Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits, and HR policy development. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Hands-on, approachable, and comfortable engaging directly with employees at all levels. • Demonstrated ability to implement HR policies and procedures effectively. Working Conditions: • Primarily on-site in a manufacturing environment. • Regular interaction with employees on the shop floor.
