Platform Engineer/Architect- US

Role: Platform Engineer/Architect Location: Austin, TX-Onsite Duration: Fulltime Job Description: Check with candidates that they have hands-on experience mainly in Terraform, GKE and relevant experience in GCP services (minimum 2 years). Provide L1 (Monitoring), L1.5 (Basic Dev and Incident Management), L2 (Complex Incident Management), L3 (Complex Dev) support New GCP service and/or pattern enablement and support through infrastructure-as-code standards (Terraform) CI/CD using cloud build Support onboarding of new GCP tenants and users for approved use cases GCP services lifecycle management, including coordination with centralized cloud services and various cloud data warehouse (CDW) and Dataiku tenant teams Developing and contributing to shared IaC modules for data analytics use cases and platform optimization initiatives Weekly IaC production GCP platform deployments, including but not limited to IAM, buckets, datasets, policies, networking, and application layer changes Development and refinement of dashboards for monitoring capacity planning, and platform resiliency Execute seven (7)-day annual stream CDW disaster recovery and regular password rotation exercisess Assist with audit requests Implement automation and efficiency initiatives for platform stability and resiliency to meet the target for the platform health metrics Maintain documentation and knowledge base of issues, governance and best practices
