As an experienced toolmaker, you'll join a collaborative team where craftsmanship and precision directly impact production success. Job type: Direct hire Location: Saint Paul, MN Wage: $33.00 - $41.00/hr. Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM Friday: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM Benefits of the experienced toolmaker: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Life, Disability, Accident, and Critical Illness insurance Highly collaborative work environment Career growth and mentoring opportunities Early Friday release at 12:00 PM Duties of the experienced toolmaker: Interpret engineering drawings, die designs, and GD&T with precision Operate manual machines (mills, grinders, lathes) at a master level Lead progressive die assembly, alignment, and clearance verification Debug and adjust progressive dies during punch press tryouts Build blanking tools, brake tools, fixtures, and die components Repair, sharpen, and maintain dies with high accuracy Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and precision instruments Recommend design improvements for performance and longevity Mentor and support junior Tool and Die Maker team members Document tooling changes and collaborate with design teams Requirements of the experienced toolmaker: 5+ years of tool and die making experience in a manufacturing setting Technical degree in tool and die making is a plus Advanced skill in reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T Proficiency with precision measurement tools and math Familiarity with CAD software for die modifications Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for full shifts Strong manual dexterity and detail orientation Contact Information: To learn more about this experienced toolmaker opportunity, contact Alejandro at 763-200-3083.EOE: Twin City Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
