DATA ENGINEER 9+ MONTHS CONTRACT DALLAS, TEXAS NEED LOCAL TO DALLAS (50-70 MILES) HYBRID (2-3 DAYS/WEEK) CLIENT DOMAIN- MORTGAGE INDUSTRY This nationwide mortgage industry leader has an immediate 9+ month contract opportunity for a Data Integration ETL Engineer/Developer with DataStage and Talend experience. This position requires working onsite in Lewisville, TX 2-3 days/week for the first month to meet workstream deadlines and milestones. After that, the majority of the work can transition to remote settings. Contract Duration: 9+ Months (strong chance for extension and potential conversion) Required Skills & Experience 5+ Years of DataStage and Talend ETL and data integration experience. Strong data analysis, data evaluation and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of SQL, Data Structures and Advanced SQL concepts including Analytics Functions, Data warehouse, Data Marts, OLTP, OLAP, DAX, Dimensional Model. Proficiency in SQL is crucial. Experience with Snowflake (the future data platform) strongly preferred. Mortgage domain experience is strongly preferred, especially mortgage servicing and Loss Mitigation. What You Will Be Doing This Data Integration/ETL Engineer will be working closely with a diverse team from different departments and functions, spanning locations in both Dallas and India. The first couple months will be focused on Data Analysis, Data Mapping, Documentation, and collaborating with Data Analysts to create the Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM), particularly if ETL jobs are involved. Subsequently, as the STTM is established, you will join the Data Integration team responsible for developing new ETL jobs within our new data platform, Snowflake. Focus will be on DataStage and Talend ETL Development (Approximately 70% DataStage and 30% Talend).
