In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient-centered nursing care, monitor telemetry, and support patients recovering from cardiac events, neuro conditions, post-CABG, and MI/chest pain cases. Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Monitor cardiac and neurological telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by authorized healthcare providers. Provide education and counseling to patients and families on disease management, medications, and recovery plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records. Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and healthcare professionals to enhance patient safety and satisfaction. Adhere to hospital protocols, policies, and state regulations to maintain high standards of patient care. Candidate requirements Nursing Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current Florida State Registered Nurse (RN) License. If a compact license is held, an active FL RN license is required within 90 days of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) required. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire (RNs must work under NIHSS credentials until training certificate is obtained). Minimum of 3 years of RECENT acute care RN experience - Required. Telemetry and Cardiac experience - Required. Why work with us?
