Software Development Manager

Job Description: The Software Development Manager will lead and manage a team responsible for building and delivering high-quality video streaming applications. This role combines technical leadership, project management, and business intelligence to drive innovation, performance, and scalability across multiple platforms. Requirement/Must Have Strong experience in software development with a focus on video technologies. Proven experience managing software development teams and projects Strong understanding of video streaming, adaptive bitrate streaming, and ad insertion technologies. Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Experience: More than ten years of experience in software development. More than five years of experience managing software development teams and projects. Experience with video streaming protocols, codecs, and adaptive bitrate technologies. Experience with cloud-based platforms. Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software development engineers Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to best coding and development practices. Manage team performance, reviews, and professional development Plan, organize, and manage complex software development projects from initiation through delivery. Develop project plans, manage resources, and mitigate risks. Collaborate with product, quality assurance, and operations teams to ensure successful deployment. Oversee the design and development of video applications across multiple platforms. Ensure applications meet performance, usability, and quality standards Manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Monitor application performance using analytics and define key performance indicators. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Should Have Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with UI and UX design principles. Experience developing applications for televisions, set-top boxes, and consumer electronics. Skills: Video streaming technologies. daptive bitrate streaming and ad insertion.
