Central Office Installer Level 4

Travel Requirement: 100% travel, sometimes for 2-week stretches Responsibilities: Perform circuit modifications, software adds or upgrades, power transition work, and addition/removal of batteries and circuits on working power distribution sources. Conduct equipment testing and turn-up operations. Operate standard hand tools and specialty tools such as fiber testers, hand & battery-operated crimpers, bandsaw, jig saw, and drills. Ensure work area is clean and safe, adhering to industry safety standards. Collaborate with team members, follow direction from leads, and contribute to a positive team environment. Run and secure cables, crimp, fiber test, and label, ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Climb ladders and work in various environments as required. Maintain a professional attitude and show up to work on time. Requirements: Proficient in using standard hand tools: screwdrivers, socket set, wrenches, scissors, needle, tape measure, pliers, small level, file, etc. Familiarity with and ability to operate specialty tools provided by Telamon: fiber testers, hand & battery operated crimpers, bandsaw, jig saw, and drills. Ability to travel extensively (100%) with occasional 2-week stays. Previous experience with circuit modifications, power transition work, and equipment testing is a plus. Ability to follow instructions, work in a team environment, and handle physical demands of the role.
