Mesa is seeking a Protection and Controls (P&C) Senior Engineer with 8+ years of experience working in the power utility industry. The successful candidate should be familiar with all major protection and control schemes associated with Power Substations P&C design as well as drawing package processes. This role is for someone wanting to pursue a technical path and not management. Responsibilities Utilize MicroStation, AutoCAD, and/or Bluebeam to create/check assigned deliverables Meet customer’s schedule and budget requirements Perform Protection & Control design/check with high degree of accuracy Perform project scoping activities Perform careful self-checking activities to ensure the quality of work Willingness to travel and work occasional overtime as needed Mentor junior engineers and designers Qualifications 8+ years experience in substation/utility design. Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field. Licensed professional engineer is required.
